Removal of Degraded Plaster and Preparation of the Support
Our team first proceeded to completely strip the wallpaper from the walls, before carefully removing the “dead” plaster, which no longer guaranteed the necessary adhesion.
This meticulous operation exposed certain parts of the support, thus allowing us to start again on a healthy basis.
To clean and stabilise the wall, we then applied a solvent-based undercoat, specially designed to block residual moisture.
Three Coating Passes for a Perfect Finish
In order to restore the flatness of the surfaces, we carried out three coats of plaster, using blades measuring 65 cm to 1 m wide.
Between each coat, rigorous sanding eliminated any roughness and prepared the ground for the next pass.
This demanding protocol guarantees a particularly smooth and uniform final result, in keeping with the high-end nature of our service.
Aqueous Undercoat and Revision in Grazing Light
Once the support was perfectly leveled, we applied a water-based undercoat, ensuring both excellent adhesion and a clean finish.
To optimize every detail, we carried out a “plaster review” in raking light, a process which allows us to detect and correct the slightest imperfection.
A new complete sanding, followed by meticulous dusting, then prepares the wall to receive the finishes.
Two Coats of Paint for a Sublimated Aesthetic
To reveal the full potential of this renovation, we applied two coats of high-end paint, in the shade selected by the owner.
In addition to their aesthetic appeal, these finishes give the wall excellent durability, thus preserving the authentic charm of this Fayence residence.

This intervention illustrates the rigor and professionalism of our company in coating and plastering, even on old and damaged supports.
